Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy Statement

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

The Encore Group (Envelopes And Packaging) Limited acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and does not tolerate, support or deal with any forced or compulsory labour, child labour, human trafficking and other kinds of slavery within our operations or within our supply chain.

We are absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities, and to ensuring that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

The Encore Group is a manufacturer and printer of paper envelopes, corrugated and folded box board packaging based in the United Kingdom.
Our main supply chain includes manufacturers and suppliers of papers, board, adhesives, printing inks and window film, predominantly in the European Union, along with transport services.

The Encore Group is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to eliminate, as far as possible, the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking taking place anywhere in our business or supply chain.

We operate a Whistleblowing Policy and a Recruitment Policy to identify modern slavery risks and prevent child labour, slavery and human trafficking. We use only specified, reputable employment agencies to source labour and always verify the practices of any new agency we use using before accepting workers from that agency.

The Encore Group ensures that all potential employees have the legal right to work in the UK and that relevant employment legislation is adhered to. We do not employ workers who are below the age of 15 or the compulsory school attendance age. No person under the age of 18 is employed in hazardous or heavy work except for the purpose of training within approved national laws and regulations.

The organization shall prohibit all forms of child labour.

The company Directors and senior management take responsibility for implementing this Policy Statement and its objectives and are confident that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking taking place within our organisation and our suppliers have been assessed to ensure that they have the same values and ethics as us regarding slavery and human trafficking.
