It has been a thrilling awards season for us here at Encore Envelopes, as we came away with another prize from September’s European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA) Print Awards.
Held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions, the EFIA awards celebrate the best and most innovative companies from across the flexographic industry, to highlight print quality, efficiency, innovation, sustainability and technical development.
The EFIA is the trade association for the UK flexographic industry, and represents the entire flexo supply chain from designer to printer and industry suppliers through to brand owners and retailers, and has held an awards ceremony for the industry every year since 2017.
At this year’s event, we were delighted to win the gold award in the Flexo Print on Paper Narrow Web category for our Sky Christmas Animation Extravaganza envelope, featuring characters from a number of animated hits.
The EFIA award comes hot on the heels of our recent success at the Flexographic Technical Association Excellence in Flexography awards – where we came away with over half a dozen prizes, including Best Of Show!
Russell Croisdale, Encore Group managing director, said: “It’s always wonderful to win awards, but in such a challenging year for so many industries, it’s extra special.
“Award wins such as this are a real testament to the hard work of the entire Encore team, and the continuous investments we are making as a company to ensure our clients’ work is always to the highest of industry standards.
“While 2020 has undoubtedly been difficult for all businesses, these awards, combined with the launch of our UV and embossing technology in April and our BRC Global Standard AA grade in March, mean the future is looking bright for Encore.”
