Congratulations to our longest-serving employee, Keith Bartlett, who has recently celebrated his 31st anniversary at The Encore Group.
Based at our Washington site, Keith has over 50-years of manufacturing experience. Having joined Washington Envelopes in 1991 as a Machine Adjuster, Keith’s career has gone from strength to strength, holding positions including Quality Manager, Training Manager, Nightshift Manager, and Supervisor.
During his career, Keith has participated in major technical projects with well-known postal organisations, including Royal Mail, in relation to envelope print and construction.
Keith’s market-leading industry knowledge has been pivotal to his successes, including being selected to represent the company at the EMA (Envelope Manufacturers Association), GEA (Global Envelope Alliance) & EMSA (Envelope Manufacturers and Suppliers Association).
In recent years, these bodies have recognised Keith’s commitment and dedication to the industry. Elected as chairman of the EMSA in 2009 and 2010, Keith went on to be Vice-Chairman in 2012. He was elected as International Director of Board of EMA in 2009 (EMA awarded the Daniel H Lipman Award later) also being awarded the EMA Monument award, a lifetime achievement award – making Keith only the 3rd British professional to win, having most years been won by an American industry member.
With all this under his belt, it’s no surprise that Keith has gradually scaled back from full-time to three days per week, bringing his wealth of industry experience to his current Training & Systems Support Manager role. The additional two days at home have allowed Keith more time to be a grandad and spend time on his interests, such as photography.
